On Monday, 16/10/2023, the University of the Greater Region and the University of Luxembourg hosted the first conference of the Erasmus+ project "Leg-UniGR: Blueprint for a legal entity for cross-border university alliances".

Considering the prevailing inflation and commonplace usage of the term "crisis," the lecture series discusses in 2023-2024 situated and critical explorations of crisis from the perspectives of border scholars in geography, political sciences, cultural studies and anthropology.
The University of the Greater Region was invited to present the first outputs of its project "Leg-UniGR" at the 2nd Forum of European Universities Alliances, organised by the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in Barcelona.
Representatives of the European Commission’s DG EAC and spokespersons of the pilot projects on European legal status for Alliances of Higher Education Institutions exchanged on the main objectives and added value of these initiatives. Project coordinator Eric Tschirhart exemplified #Leg_UniGR.
