The UniGR Advisory Board of Students and Doctoral Candidates

The UniGR Advisory Board of Students and Doctoral Candidates

The Advisory Board of Students and Doctoral candidates is an advisory body composed of students and doctoral candidates of the six partner universities of the Greater Region. Its mission is to bring in the students and doctoral candidates’ perspective to the activities of the UniGR confederation. It also offers students and doctoral candidates the possibility to get to know each other, to exchange and to start common cross-border initiatives. The Advisory Board meets once or twice a year to discuss its visions and expectations concerning cross-border cooperation and to work out suggestions for improving the offers and conditions related to cross-border studies and doctorates. In the future, the Advisory Board also wishes to support the activities and projects of international student’s associations.

Moreover, the Advisory Board aims at contributing to the visibility and attractiveness of the university confederation UniGR. For this, the cross-border study offer at the UniGR partner universities is crucial. It is for this reason that the council wishes to encourage an exchange of experiences between future students and the students of the bi- or trinational study courses at the partner universities. First experience reports can be found here.

Please note: the UniGR Advisory Board of Students and Doctoral Candidates is not in charge of providing practical or administrative information. For this, please refer directly to the UniGR Officers. The Advisory Board however provides the possibility to find a contact person willing to share his or her cross-border experience from a peer-to-peer perspective.
