Art museums and exhibition centres in the Greater Region. Challenges and opportunities of cross-border cooperation

How can cross-border cultural cooperation within the Greater Region be promoted? How can the cultural heritage in the Greater Region be developed and enriched?

These questions will be addressed in the programme of the "First MuseoGR Encounters", which are a first highlight of the MuseoGR project. The event offers the opportunity to bring together experts from museums and art centres, researchers, students and the general public interested in art and culture.

The "First MuseoGR Encounters", organised by the Pôle France of Saarland University and the Centre de Recherche sur les Médiations (Crem) of the Université de Lorraine, are dedicated to research questions on the forms, challenges and limits of cross-border cooperation between museums and exhibition venues in the Greater Region.

Place: Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nancy (3 place Stanislas, 54000 Nancy).

 

Event in German and French with simultaneous translation into both languages.

The event is part of the MuseoGR project, which is supported by the Co//ectif programme of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie and is under the patronage of the University of the Greater Region. In addition to the Université de Lorraine and Saarland University, other project partners are the Université de Liège and the Université du Luxembourg.
