En marge du Conseil des présidents et recteurs de l’UniGR a eu lieu le 29 mai 2018 la manifestation culturelle et sportive des universités partenaires de l’Université de la Grande Région - UniGR. Les universités de Kaiserslautern, Liège, Lorraine, Luxembourg, Sarre et Trèves ont rassemblé 120 participants à Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg).

Alistair Plum, our UniGR guest professor, who is currently completing his guest stay at Trier University, is organizing a workshop on artificial intelligence and its ability to take cultural context into account when analyzing queries (“Cultural Reasoning”).
On 26 October, around fifty people attended the UniGR-Science Slam at the “Theater im Viertel” in Saarbrücken for an evening that offered a fresh and entertaining way to explore scientific topics. Four researchers from the UniGR partner universities captivated the audience by bringing their research to life through original slam performances on stage.
