How can I take exams and have my academic achievements recognised within the study progamme of my home university?

As part of the enrolment via the UniGR student status, students can complete coursework and take examinations at the UniGR partner universities (up to 10 ECTS per semester). UniGR recommends that you conclude a ‘Learning Agreement’ (see UniGR sample LA 2.06 MB-PDF-EN) in advance according to the requirements of your home university in order to ensure that your coursework and examinations are recognised. Automatic recognition is not guaranteed.
At Trier University, registration to courses and examinations are to arrange directly with the lecturers of the course by students of the UniGR network. The ECTS or ERASMUS coordinators in the subject area are generally responsible for recognising successfully completed coursework or examinations and issuing a transcript of records. If you have any questions, please contact the UniGR coordinator.

What are the costs?

Students of UniGR partner universities are exempt from enrolment and tuition fees as well as semester fees. There is only a one-off card fee of €22 when the Trier student ID card, the ‘TUNIKA’, is issued.
