UniGR student status at the University of Liège
The Université de Liège (ULiège) encourages students from member universities of the Université de la Grande Région group to come and take courses there, if they so wish, without paying registration fees.
Which courses can I choose?
What opportunities are available to me at ULiège? ?
- Choose courses for a maximum of 15 ECTS credits per four-month period, without payment of enrolment fees
- Benefit from all the practical advantages of a ULiège student: student card, access to the student intranet, free access to libraries, university restaurants, etc.
- On the basis of successful completion of the exams submitted, receive a certificate of successful completion for each course taken.
- Validate credits obtained at their home university in accordance with the university's procedures
How to register
- You must obtain the agreement of the ULiège professor(s) by sending a personal request by e-mail. For the professors' e-mail addresses, see « the catalogue» of the ULiège website.
- Finalise registration en ligne.
- Send an e-mail to : to indicate that you wish to benefit from the UniGR framework agreement and be exempt from registration fees.
- You can get in touch with the UniGR correspondent (Contact) to help you with the formalities.
When can I register?
For courses organised in the first four months: from 1 July to 14 July and from 19 August to 30 September. Please note that the agreement of each teacher is required for enrolment. Courses start on 14 september. For courses organised in the second term : from 13 January to 10 February. Please note that you must have the agreement of each teacher in order to enrol.
How can I take exams and have the courses I've taken recognised?
The assessment procedures for each course are described in the ULiège course programme. At the end of the term, you must ask each teacher for a certificate of successful completion of the course.
What do I have to pay?
Students will be exempt from paying registration fees. However, an insurance fee of €32 will be charged.
