Parallel zur UniGR-Ratssitzung der Präsidenten und Rektoren fand am 29. Mai 2018 die Sport- und Kulturveranstaltung der Partneruniversitäten der Universität der Großregion – UniGR statt. 120 Studierende und Mitarbeiter_innen aus den Universitäten Kaiserslautern, Lüttich, Lothringen, Luxemburg, des Saarlandes und Trier nahmen an der Veranstaltung in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxemburg) teil.

Alistair Plum, our UniGR guest professor, who is currently completing his guest stay at Trier University, is organizing a workshop on artificial intelligence and its ability to take cultural context into account when analyzing queries (“Cultural Reasoning”).
On 26 October, around fifty people attended the UniGR-Science Slam at the “Theater im Viertel” in Saarbrücken for an evening that offered a fresh and entertaining way to explore scientific topics. Four researchers from the UniGR partner universities captivated the audience by bringing their research to life through original slam performances on stage.
