Réunis en Conseil le 29 septembre dernier, les président.e.s et recteurs des universités membres de l’Université de la Grande Région (UniGR) ont pérennisé le premier centre d’expertise pluridisciplinaire de l’UniGR dans le domaine des études sur les frontières, l’UniGR-Center for Border Studies.
On 26 October, around fifty people attended the UniGR-Science Slam at the “Theater im Viertel” in Saarbrücken for an evening that offered a fresh and entertaining way to explore scientific topics. Four researchers from the UniGR partner universities captivated the audience by bringing their research to life through original slam performances on stage.
Philipp Herzog, our UniGR guest professor, who is currently completing his guest professorship at the University of Liège, is organizing a workshop on Experience Sampling Methods.
In 2021, the Université de Lorraine, in collaboration with the University of the Greater Region (UniGR), established the literary prize "Frontières". For its sixth edition, the student short story competition “Écrire aux frontières” is now open to celebrate and encourage literary creativity within the UniGR student community.
