"ECHO" is back for the next round!

PhD students, postdocs, and early-career researchers – take note! After a successful launch in May, another edition of the UniGR event series "ECHO" will take place next spring, focusing on “Cognitive Neuroscience in the Greater Region.”
UniGR-Guest Professorship: Workshop on Artificial Intelligence

Alistair Plum, our UniGR guest professor, who is currently completing his guest stay at Trier University, is organizing a workshop on artificial intelligence and its ability to take cultural context into account when analyzing queries (“Cultural Reasoning”).
The UniGR-Science Slam was a great success!

On 26 October, around fifty people attended the UniGR-Science Slam at the “Theater im Viertel” in Saarbrücken for an evening that offered a fresh and entertaining way to explore scientific topics. Four researchers from the UniGR partner universities captivated the audience by bringing their research to life through original slam performances on stage.

New student competition « Écrire aux frontières »

In 2021, the Université de Lorraine, in collaboration with the University of the Greater Region (UniGR), established the literary prize "Frontières". For its sixth edition, the student short story competition “Écrire aux frontières” is now open to celebrate and encourage literary creativity within the UniGR student community.

Mihayl Varbanov est doctorant, chercheur et également étudiant à la faculté de pharmacie à l’Université de Lorraine. Ses recherches appartiennent au domaine de la virologie et l’immunologie. Il est également coordinateur Erasmus dans son UFR- Pharmacie pour la coopération internationale. Il a bénéficié d’un soutien financier grâce aux fonds de mobilité de l’Université de la Grande Région lors de sa mobilité pour assister à des cours à l’Université de Liège de septembre 2017 à décembre 2017.
