PhD students, postdocs, and early-career researchers – take note! After a successful launch in May, another edition of the UniGR event series "ECHO" will take place next spring, focusing on “Cognitive Neuroscience in the Greater Region.”

Alistair Plum, our UniGR guest professor, who is currently completing his guest stay at Trier University, is organizing a workshop on artificial intelligence and its ability to take cultural context into account when analyzing queries (“Cultural Reasoning”).
The UniGR-Science Slam was a great success!

On 26 October, around fifty people attended the UniGR-Science Slam at the “Theater im Viertel” in Saarbrücken for an evening that offered a fresh and entertaining way to explore scientific topics. Four researchers from the UniGR partner universities captivated the audience by bringing their research to life through original slam performances on stage.

New student competition « Écrire aux frontières »

In 2021, the Université de Lorraine, in collaboration with the University of the Greater Region (UniGR), established the literary prize "Frontières". For its sixth edition, the student short story competition “Écrire aux frontières” is now open to celebrate and encourage literary creativity within the UniGR student community.

1er congrès du projet NHL-ChirEx à la faculté de médecine de Nancy

Communiqué

Le projet européen NHL-ChirEx, porté par l’Université de Lorraine, et réunissant les hôpitaux universitaires (CHU) et les facultés de médecine des universités de la Grande Région, a démarré le 1er juin 2018 (pour s’achever en mai 2022). Basé sur la modernité et l’innovation de ses méthodes, il permettra à toute une génération de médecins « sans frontières » de développer une expertise commune avant la prise en charge des patients transfrontaliers. Il a en effet pour objectif d’offrir des modules de formation complémentaires en chirurgie, médecine d’urgence et cancérologieradiothérapie aux médecins et manipulateurs radio de la Grande Région.
