"Psycholinguistics in Flanders" (PiF) is an annual international conference that started in Flanders in 2002 and is dedicated to the psychology of language. This conference promotes Europe-wide and interdisciplinary scientific collaboration between young scientists who deal with neurological, cognitive, psychological or linguistic aspects of language processing and apply a variety of methodological approaches: from behavioral studies, neuroimaging, eye-tracking technologies to language modeling.

  • Alistair Plum, our UniGR guest professor, who is currently completing his guest stay at Trier University, is organizing a workshop on artificial intelligence and its ability to take cultural context into account when analyzing queries (“Cultural Reasoning”).

  • On 26 October, around fifty people attended the UniGR-Science Slam at the “Theater im Viertel” in Saarbrücken for an evening that offered a fresh and entertaining way to explore scientific topics. Four researchers from the UniGR partner universities captivated the audience by bringing their research to life through original slam performances on stage.

  • Philipp Herzog, our UniGR guest professor, who is currently completing his guest professorship at the University of Liège, is organizing a workshop on Experience Sampling Methods.
