Lancement du Master Border Studies

Avec le lancement du nouveau Master Border Studies en ce premier semestre universitaire 2017/2018, l’offre des études transfrontalières au sein de la Grande Région a été élargie. Proposé par les universités de Sarre, Lorraine, Luxembourg et Kaiserslautern, ce cursus international traite de la complexité des questions économiques, politiques, sociales et culturelles des frontières et des régions frontalières en Europe et dans le monde.

  • PhD students, postdocs, and early-career researchers – take note! After a successful launch in May, another edition of the UniGR event series "ECHO" will take place next spring, focusing on “Cognitive Neuroscience in the Greater Region.”

  • Alistair Plum, our UniGR guest professor, who is currently completing his guest stay at Trier University, is organizing a workshop on artificial intelligence and its ability to take cultural context into account when analyzing queries (“Cultural Reasoning”).

  • On 26 October, around fifty people attended the UniGR-Science Slam at the “Theater im Viertel” in Saarbrücken for an evening that offered a fresh and entertaining way to explore scientific topics. Four researchers from the UniGR partner universities captivated the audience by bringing their research to life through original slam performances on stage.
