Interreg LATI – Laboratory for Territorial Intelligence

With LATI – Research Laboratory for Territorial Intelligence, the University of the Greater Region provides a groundbreaking impetus for cross-border spatial planning.

Funded by the Interreg VI A Greater Region programme, LATI enables cities, municipalities and regions in the Greater Region to develop sustainable solutions to shared challenges – such as addressing climate change, achieving net zero land consumption, or designing transport-oriented living and working environments.

The project focuses on the open exchange of knowledge and ideas, as well as on the joint development of practical solutions. LATI supports spatial planning stakeholders in the co-constructive development and dissemination of cross-border knowledge on spatial development.

The emphasis lies on mutual learning and the joint testing of policies, strategies and practical approaches. The aim is to rethink spatial planning – in a sustainable and networked way that is closely aligned with real-world challenges.
