The Literary Prize "Frontières", established in 2021 by the Université de Lorraine and the University of the Greater Region (UniGR), continues in 2026 with its sixth edition.
Each year, the prize honors an outstanding French-language novel that explores the theme of “borders” in its various dimensions – geographical, social, symbolic, or imaginary.
For the 6th edition, 10 novels have been selected as nominees. The jury will meet on March 31, 2026, to determine the winner.
Save the date!
The award ceremony will take place on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the University Festive Hall, 11 Place Carnot, Nancy.
New in 2026:
This year, the prize will be complemented by the short story competition “Écrire aux frontières”, open to students from all seven UniGR partner universities.
Further information about the prize and the 10 nominated novels can be found on the Université de Lorraine website or in the Press Release.
