Spotlight on Science: The UniGR Science Slam of the Greater Region!
Experience science on stage! At the UniGR Science Slam, researchers from a wide range of disciplines present their work in an entertaining, accessible, and captivating way. The audience decides who will take home the UniGR Science Slam title—you are the jury, choosing between outstanding contributions from researchers across the Greater Region.
The University of the Greater Region, or UniGR for short, is an alliance of seven universities in four countries: Université de Lorraine, University of Luxembourg, University of Liège, RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, University of Trier, Saarland University, and the htw saar (University of Applied Sciences Saarland).
The UniGR Science Slam marks the finale of the first two years of the UniGR Guest Professorship – a fellowship program that enables researchers to conduct cross-border stays at one of the seven UniGR partner universities. These stays offer space for new impulses, cooperation, and fresh perspectives. At the UniGR Science Slam, participating researchers bring their new research ideas to the stage.

Our slammers present their research in German, French, and English, using simple language so that the entire audience can follow. Moderation is provided by a German-French duo, ensuring all information is delivered clearly in both languages.
