February 3, 2025 – Saarland University: Final lecture by Dr. Adelina Stefan (UniGR Fellow at the Käte Hamburger Centre for Cultural Practices of Reparation (CURE))
Since last October, the European Cultural Studies lecture series at Saarland University has been exploring the theme „Kulturelles Erbe Europas – Narrative, Regionalsprachen und Identitäten“ ("Cultural Heritage of Europe – Narratives, Regional Languages, and Identities").
The UniGR is pleased to announce that Dr. Adelina Stefan will conclude this series on February 3, 2025, with her lecture titled “Tourism and Dictatorships: Identities, Nature, and Tourist Spaces on the Romanian Black Sea Coast and the Spanish Costa del Sol, 1950s-1970s“.
Since October 2024, Dr. Adelina Stefan has been a UniGR Fellow at the Käte Hamburger Centre for Cultural Practices of Reparation (CURE). Her presentation will provide fascinating insights into her research as a UniGR Fellow and serves as a perfect illustration of the interdisciplinary exchange and networking opportunities offered by this fellowship.
We are eager to follow the findings of her research and the experiences she will share throughout her fellowship year!
