
PhD students, postdocs, and early-career researchers – take note! After a successful launch in May, another edition of the UniGR event series "ECHO" will take place next spring, focusing on “Cognitive Neuroscience in the Greater Region.”
The two-day event is hosted by the Institute for Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience (ICAN) of Trier University.

Join an engaging program designed to spark exchange with colleagues from Belgium, Germany, France, and Luxembourg, and gain fresh perspectives for your own research and collaborative projects in neuropsychology:
- Showcase your research: Present your work as a poster or in a talk
- Keynote lecture: Caitlin Ware (Université de Lorraine) on “Neuroplasticity, Subjectivity, and Emotional Regulation in Second Language Acquisition”
- Explore the neuroscience institutes at UniGR partner universities as well as potential collaboration opportunities
- Learn about funding opportunities across the Greater Region.
- Networking: Connect with peers through Scientific Speed Dating, round tables, and the interactive conference dinner – often the starting point for new projects
- Opening: Prof. Dr. Eva Eckkrammer (President, University of Trier), Cornelia Schmidt (Secretary General, UniGR), and the ICAN team
