UniGR-Guest Professorship: Workshop on Artificial Intelligence

Alistair Plum, our UniGR guest professor, who is currently completing his guest stay at Trier University, is organizing a workshop on artificial intelligence and its ability to take cultural context into account when analyzing queries (“Cultural Reasoning”).

Workshop "Artificial Cultural Reasoning"

How does AI deal with different cultural perspectives or conflicting user preferences—and should it even be able to?

These exciting questions will be addressed in the workshop “Artificial Cultural Reasoning”, organized as part of the UniGR Guest Professorship by Dr. Alistair Plum and Prof. Dr. Achim Rettinger.

Dr. Alistair Plum from the University of Luxembourg is one of our UniGR guest professors. He is currently spending his two-month UniGR guest professorship at the University of Trier, where he is collaborating with Prof. Dr. Achim Rettinger on the workshop topics. The UniGR Guest Professorship is supported by the Marienburg Foundation and under the patronage of the Fondation de Luxembourg.
