The University of the Greater Region was invited to present the first outputs of its project "Leg-UniGR" at the 2nd Forum of European Universities Alliances, organised by the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in Barcelona.
Representatives of the European Commission’s DG EAC and spokespersons of the pilot projects on European legal status for Alliances of Higher Education Institutions exchanged on the main objectives and added value of these initiatives. Project coordinator Eric Tschirhart exemplified #Leg_UniGR.
UniGR carries out one of the four selected projects co-funded by Erasmus+. With “Leg-UniGR: Blueprint for a legal entity for cross-border university alliances”, it aims to test the feasibility of a new legal status for the cross-border university network in the GreaterRegion.
