Zum kommenden Wintersemester 2017/18 startet der neu eingerichtete UniGR-Masterstudiengang in Border Studies. Dieser trinationale Studiengang, in dem die wirtschaftlichen, politischen, sozialen und kulturellen Themen von Grenzen und Grenzregionen in Europa und der ganzen Welt behandelt werden, ist weltweit einzigartig.
L’édition 2017 du colloque « Energie & Ville du Futur » a eu lieu les 27 et 28 avril à l’IUT Henri Poincaré de Longwy, petite ville au cœur d’une région transfrontalière très dynamique au niveau Européen / Grande Région.
L’Université de la Grande Région a organisé les 11 et 12 mai dernier son Assemblée Générale annuelle, en parallèle de laquelle s’est déroulée la désormais traditionnelle rencontre sportive interuniversitaire transfrontalière.

The Improve-Stem project aims to develop an integrated set of tools necessary for the amplification of mesenchymal stem cells to promote their application in cell therapy in hospitals.
These tools will rely on the adoption of microbeads whose surface will be optimized to ensure a control of the adhesion of the cells and on the design of a bioreactor whose operating conditions will be adapted for the cultivation of adherent cells on microbeads.
The project officially began in january 2017 and will last for 3 years.
