The University of Luxembourg invites students from the UniGR partner universities to enrich their studies by taking courses in Luxembourg.
The possibility of taking courses is open to students who would like to follow single courses (with the possibility of taking exams) or stay a whole semester, but who do not aim for a degree from the University of Luxembourg. Enrolment is free of charge. Students subsequently have access to various services of the University of Luxembourg.
For students who would like to take a full degree at the University of Luxembourg the respective access conditions apply (please consult www.uni.lu).
First of all, students should choose the course(s) they would like to follow. Course information of all Bachelors and Masters programmes is available on the website of the University of Luxembourg. It is recommended to contact the professor in charge of the course before enrolment to ensure that participation in the chosen course(s) is indeed possible.
After having chosen the course(s) and having obtained the professor’s agreement , the student should enrol online as “UniGR visiting student”. In the online form it suffices to indicate the area of the selected course(s).
The enrolment form should be printed, signed and sent to the enrolment office, along with the following documents:
The student should then send an email to ugr-info(at)uni.lu, indicating the course(s) he/she wishes to take and whether he/she has obtained the approval of the professor.
Detailed information concerning the administrative procedures (including those applying to course and exam registration as well as recognition) is available in this scheme (in English, German and French).
UniGR visiting students enrolling at the University of Luxembourg are exempted from all fees.
When enrolling they have the possibility of purchasing a transport pass for 25 euros a semester which gives access to all public transport in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (see student tickets in Luxembourg).
The enrolment periods for UniGR visiting student at the University of Luxembourg run from the beginning April to the end of September for the autumn semester (courses from September to December) and from the end of January to mid-February for the spring semester (courses from February to May/June, (see also academic calendars).
Please contact ugr-info(at)uni.lu for registration outside these periods.
