UniGR Student Status

Choose one university – study within a European network!

Would you like to take courses at a partner university in the Greater Region, be it as an integral part of your current study programme or as complement?

Thanks to the project “University of the Greater Region” students enrolled at one UniGR partner university can now benefit from the course offer and services of all six universities in Kaiserslautern, Liège, Luxembourg, Lorraine, Saarbrücken and Trier and pass exams. When taking single courses, they are exempted from additional enrolment fees and receive the student card of the partner university, with which they can eat at student prices in the university restaurants, use the university libraries and get access to other services.

Find more information on the conditions and enrolment procedures at the universities on their sub pages.

To help you finance your travels between the university sites, some partner universities have established mobility funds.

Mobility guide for students

The mobility guide for students will give you lots of useful information on enrolment and recognition procedures, travel tickets and access to canteens and libraries.
