Do you want to perfect your command of a language used in the neighbouring countries of the Greater Region so that you can take a course, or simply learn a new language to be able to move around more easily on the other side of the border? Every partner university of the network "University of the Greater Region - UniGR“ offers courses, some of them leading to a recognised certificate.
The "University of the Greater Region" aims at supporting the learning of, in particular, the German and French language. One possibility for students to test and improve their language skills is to use the UniGR Student Status, which enables students to follow lectures at the partner universities for free. In addition, students can often benefit from the language offers and courses.
All the UniGR partner universities have a wide range of offerings to help students improve their language skills. In addition to German and French, most universities offer other foreign languages. Language courses during term are usually for free.
An overview of the language facilities and offers is available in the infobox on the right.
Students wishing to obtain a degree at a partner university have to prove sufficient language proficiency, often by submitting language certificates.
