Evaluation of the project “University of the Greater Region – UniGR“: first outcomes

Since its approval by the EU INTERREG programme in autumn 2008, the project “University of the Greater Region” has laid the foundation for a strong. As EU funding will be ending in April 2013, the partner universities are now working on the perpetuation of their cooperation. The European University Assocation – EUA has supported them in operating the transition from a project towards a sustainable university association: six internationally renowned experts evaluated the achievements of the project, with the aim of defining strategies for future cooperation. Their recommendations are very encouraging for the developing network.
