The "University of the Greater Region" project is an active participant in the creation of the Europe of Knowledge. Openness to the world lies at the heart of its roles of training and research.

 

With its 115,000 students, its position in Europe, its experience and its best practices in terms of cross-border cooperation, the project’s mission on an international scale is:

• to present the range of training courses  to international partners
• to develop existing partnerships and initiate new ones
• to ensure visibility for the project on an international level.

 

The project is developing international activities:

• participation in joint projects and/or networks of universities
• cooperation with and/or application for university networks
• creation of innovative cross-border study programmes in order to make the Greater Region appealing to international students
• participation in international events and exhibitions
• common representation as a consortium
